Instructions for Preparing Papers for Publication
Invited Lectures, Highlight Talks and Orally presented contributed papers will be published in Nuclear Physics B (Proc. Suppl). Poster papers will be listed in the proceedings by titles and authors only.
However, if the financial situation permits, the organizers of the XII ISVHECRI may produce a limited number of CDs with the permission of Elsevier Co. of the proceedings that will include the poster papers in full (i.e. as if presented orally).
The following strict rules will apply to all papers in order to be accepted for publication in the proceedings.
General
Papers must be written in good, legible English and comply with the standards
imposed by the publisher. It is recommendedthat papers be checked by colleagues
working in related fields, but not necessary on the same project.
Style
Papers must be submitted in Latex, 2-column format with figures included
in eps-format. The Latex Style File and a sample file with the instructions
for the correct preparation of the papers are available by courtesy of Elsevier,
the publishers of Nuclear Physics at the following url:

Page Limits
The maximum number of pages per paper including figures and tables are
fixed for the different categories of papers as follows:
Invited Lectures & Summary Talks <=
10 pages
Highlight Talks <= 8 pages
Contributed Papers <= 4 pages
Submission of papers for Publication
The Latex file and the eps figure file(s) together with the complete postcript
file of the entire paper must be sent via e-mail as attachments to either
cosmic-ray.symposium@cern.ch or to Bryan.Pattison@cern.ch.
Alternativley the same files may be sent on a standard medium (3.5" floppy
disc, Iomega Zip disk or CD) to the XII ISVHECRI Secretariat (attention Bryan
Pattison) at CERN. Please indiacte whether you have use Windows or Linux.
Deadline for Submission of Papers
This deadline was fixed during the meeting as 20 October 2002.
Restrictions
The local organizing committee reserves the right to refuse publication
in the proceedings of papers that do not meet the standards required.
