Instructions for Preparing and Submitting Abstracts

Abstracts must reach the LOC no later than March 1, 2002.

Abstracts of papers will be distributed in hardcopy to participants at the conference, and will be also available on the Symposium Web Site. Delegates are strongly encouraged to submit their abstracts by e-mail to:

Cosmic-ray.symposium@cern.ch

Electronic submission of your abstract will avoid possible errors that can occur in the transcription of a hardcopy abstract to electronic form. Delegates may submit a maximum of three papers to the symposium.

Please use one e-mail message for each abstract.

If you are unable to submit your abstract electronically, you may send a hardcopy version by postal mail to:

Bryan Pattison
EP Division
CERN
1211 Geneva 23
Switzerland

The text must be printed on white paper using a 12-point font.

All abstracts should be submitted as plain text (ASCII), and must not exceed 150 words in length. For the purpose of processing abstracts, however, they must be submitted without special characters. Formulae can be indicated using, for example, latex conventions, but try to make the ASCII abstract as readable as possible.
Your full paper may include the abstract in latex-processed form.

You should closely follow the format of the example below:
